The internet service

Chitchatting 10102014
Due to the late payment, our internet service was “unplugged”.  On the 6Oct when I tried to bog early in the morning, I failed totally.  Only then I realised that the internet light on the modem was not on.  So I held on until 6am to call for help.  Only then, I realised that we did not pay the bill in time.  Thus we were barred.

On Oct7 my husband paid online in his office.  As soon as I found out that he had paid the bill, I called the TM company to reconnect the line but I failed to understand what number she wanted to have the line reconnected.  I gave her the account number but she could not help with it.

I asked my husband if he got any number when he paid online.  He told me that he did not see any number when he made the payment.

In the evening, I asked my husband for the bill to check what was required to get connected again.  I only realised that she wanted the Billing number of the said bill statement.  Look, I did not have the prior knowledge to understand  the telephone receptionist when she asked me for the number.

I thought there was a number when my husband made the payment online.   No wonder he told me there was no such number that he could get when paying online.  The telephone receptionist did not tell me she wanted the Billing number on the current Bill statement sent by the Telekom.   So, there was a communication breakdown.

As soon as I got the said bill and understand what was required, I called immediately and asked to get reconnected.  The telephone receptionist told me I could get connected in 4 hours’ time.  But on the 8Oct, the internet light was still not on.

To my dismay, I found out that the ADSL light also went out unknowingly.  I called again on 8Oct to complain about the problems of the telephone set which had become too noisy to make the phone call and also about how the Telekom company used the recycled telephone set in replacement if there was a complaint of the telephone set.

I had to use my handphone to make the complaints and requested for the technician team to come to my house to check.  Yesterday afternoon, I went to buy a splitter which can affect ADSL connection.  I also bought a cordless telephone just in case if they gave us a recycled telephone set again.

After I had come back from town, at 4pm something before I had finished reading the instructions for the cordless telephone, the telekom technician called and came.

En………this time they gave me a new telephone and fixed the internet.  So I am reconnected with the world.  To stay connected has become a must to me since I started Blogger and Twitter.  I can Wechat with my maternal family once again.  I found that I had experienced anxiety, frustration and anger during the whole process until yesterday when the technicians helped to fixed the problems.  I feel thankful to them for the good service.

In the web of the internet, we are all connected in a line all for the good and better of this world.  It really abounds with knowledge  for us to get and communicate with the world.

(To be frank, at first, I also thought if I was targeted at for condemning Zahid Hamidi on his 3Rs and the Sedition Act.  See, I have harboured this fear as I witnessed how they dealt with their "enemies" and when they felt threatened for their criminal acts for being so abusive and corrupt.)
